As one of the oldest of only a handful of Lowland distilleries, Glenkinchie produces a lighter spirit compared to the other regional styles, though no less interesting for it. The new name came from the Kinchie Burn running through the glen, which itself derives its name from “de Quincey” who originally owned the land and burn.
