The Obsessions range is quite broad now they have some more colourful neutrals such as the red toned Mauve (IMHO, it’s not mauve! The ultimate capsule make up wardrobe, this unites nine ultra-versatile, buttery smooth shadows – four vibrant duo-chrome shimmers and five creamy mattes. Finally, add a few generous swipes of Fenty Beauty Gloss Bomb Lip Luminizer in Fenty Glow on top of the lips for a gorgeous shimmery rose gold effect. This is definitely a palette you might use if you’re in the mood to play with blending and placement, perhaps not so much for a slap dash application since the pigmentation is so strong but my goodness are these colours out of this world. However… you do have a lot of shades in there that are very similar tones and when you blend them out on the eyes they all sort of mix into the same colour.

If you’re reasonably good at eyeshadow application this won’t disappoint, however it does need blending and the pigment builds up quickly. However, one thing to note is that even thought I tried packing on the brown with a brush, the overall effect looked diffused and very blended. But putting that aside, I have another one of the HUDA Beauty mini palettes and I thought I would share with you my thoughts and feelings!Considering they’re cardboard packaging, they do feel super high quality and robust and I think it actually works better than if it was plastic. As lips have a very thin epidermis that lacks sebum, they need extra care to ensure they don’t dry out or crack.
