Solid wall 25mm blue MDPE (also known as alkathene) pipe coil suitable for below ground potable water mains supply distribution. This blue water pipe coil comes with a 25-millimetre diameter and comes in a 25, 50 or 100 metre length.

Black PE100 high performance polyethylene (HPPE) pipe to BS EN 12201, for carrying potable water both above and below ground. If you plan to run any water service underground, we would always recommend that the water pipe is buried in the ground inside a blue water duct system. It also conforms to the British Standard for pipe construction (BS 6572), ensuring it's quality-checked and safe to use. From 20mm through to 90mm diameter, we can supply pipes to suit a maximum operating pressure of up to 25 bar and are compliant to BS EN 12201 and WRAS drinking water standards. However, it is recommended to consult with the manufacturer's guidelines or a plumbing professional to determine the suitability of reuse or repositioning. In addition to underground use, the pipe's rigid yet bendable design makes it perfect for frames and fleece tunnels used to support nets over garden raised beds and vegetable patches. From installing a silent sewage system in a rural home to a large commercial installation in a hotel, you can trust us to get it right every time. MDPE fittings should comply with relevant industry standards and regulations, such as those set by the Water Regulations Advisory Scheme (WRAS) in the UK or similar regulatory bodies in other regions. If this is your first time installing ducting, we would always recommend attaching a second drawcord to your pipe as this will enable you to easily install replacements at any point in the future, if required. Black MDPE pipe can also be known as pipe, PE pipe, black water pipe, non-potable pipe or black alkathene pipe. A duct is designed to protect the pipe from damage and alert others to the presence of duct in the ground. However, it is important to ensure that the specific fittings used are designed and rated for the intended application and environmental conditions.

Black MDPE pipe is suitable for non-potable mains water, drainage and sewerage applications and can be used in above-ground installations. However, regular inspection for leaks, damage, or blockages is recommended to ensure the integrity and efficient operation of the plumbing system. MDPE (Medium Density Polyethylene) fittings are components used in the installation of 25mm MDPE pipes.MDPE pipe offers great flexibility and corrosion resistance, designed for underground water services for the connection of properties to water main services.

In the UK 25mm MDPE is the standard size of new water supply pipe for a domestic property, and if less than 40m of continuous below ground water supply pipe is needed, however check with local water authority requirements for your project as certain areas may differ. These pipes are produced as a single layer pipe wall construction, with a PE80 black inner and a PE80 colour coded light blue outer. The system is acceptable for use with cold water (maximum temperature 20C) with a working pressure of up to 10 bar. Polyethylene boasts unique material characteristics compared to traditional materials which means it is a highly flexible, robust, and 100% recyclable. However, with the use of appropriate adaptors or transition fittings, they can be connected to other pipe materials such as copper, PEX, or PVC pipes. With 50 years experience, we have installed thousands of treatment plants across the South East and East Anglia. This pipe has been approved by the Water Regulations Advisory Scheme (WRAS) so you know it's suitable to carry household drinking water.
