The IRWIN Marples M444 Series Blue Chip Square Edge wood chisel have high impact round blue plastic handles, contoured for maximum control, radiused for a comfortable grip and have been designed for use with a mallet and will absorb the occasional hammer blow. Blade, bolster and tang forged from one-piece of steel with edges bevelled to enable easier working in tight corners. Bevelled edges enable easier working in tight corners giving good access in restricted places and for fine work.

The handle of the tool is designed to swing open when ferrule is slipped off so that the blade may be removed for sharpening.Perfect for removing decking caulk in marine deck applications due to its width and its square sides.

They are relieved to approximately half the tip with (Except for 1/8" Tip Chisel) behind the cutting edge, they are approximately 9" long, have a 1/2" Diameter Shaft x 1 3/4" long for small air tools, and are finished in a Deep Red Paint.
