I gave it some steam and using the cleaner neat on the pads I was able to gently get the glue mobile and breaking up in tiny strands of snot which I was able to steam /blow off the body work . We understand all the parts are original including the black bar pickups, pickguard, and Hofner's "teacup" knobs, only the floating bridge has been replaced. We have been very well looked after by Claire throughout the whole process, and nothing was too much trouble. If the lounge is inviting, the washroom is rather less so – it’s not so much that it’s not very well equipped, it’s just rather bland and uninviting.
