It doesn't really cool the room down but we're in the middle of a heatwave right now, but this fan definitely keeps me cool when it's pointed towards me. My only complaint is that the digital lights on top cannot be turned off as i bought for the bedroom, but can be solved by putting something over it. Yes that's right, if you zoom in on the third image, that tiny cut-out on the left is the only place air comes out from, the rest of the venting is just decoration and utterly worthless.
