In 2021, he presented Scotland: Escape to the Wilderness, a four-part series that saw him take four celebrities (Martin Clunes, Baroness Warsi, Ben Miller and Reverend Richard Coles) to wild locations around Scotland, showing them the local wildlife. What a brilliant book - I’ve recently started to learn about birds and this book combines interesting etymology, environmental information, brilliant stories that make you fall in love with birds and really practical tips on how and where to spot them. I hope to encourage more birding enthusiasts to share the love I have for these creatures and the planet we share with them. Hamza's Wild World is filled with fascinating information about the animal kingdom - in the sky, on the land and in the sea. He was lovely with everyone (especially the kids) and dealt with the constant attention so well, never seeming like he’d rather not interact – in fact I had to keep telling people to move on as they were having such a long chat! First saw Hamza on kids TV when we used to watch Let's Go For a Walk, I found Hamza fascinating and informative.
