About this deal

Also it is important to mention that this deck is a "pip" deck, meaning if you don't have a basic grasp of the meanings of the minor arcana it's a lot harder to intuitively figure it out compared to the rider waite deck that convey very colourful and clearly interpritable scenes, this is the kind of deck that I feel you may have to study, so if you are not up to the challenge and are just beginning with tarot I feel as though this may not be the right deck for you, but if you're up for the challenge it is a very dense deck and opens your mind to lots of different intuitive gateways you may not catch with other decks. My main recommendation once you put down the book would be to look further into the works of Bergson, as he ended up being quite the influential figure for certain Continental philosophers (especially my all-time favorite, Gilles Deleuze).

The Society set down certain instructions for its members to follow, but these instructions were abbreviated at best. It took me over a decade to get through this book, with many false starts, interruptions of life, and a need to learn how to read better and be more clear in thought. The Aspirant to a Grade received instruction on the metaphysical meaning of each of these Elements and had to pass a written examination and demonstrate certain skills to receive admission to that Grade.

interesting, I mean I know of know other book that talks about the spiritual mechanics of levitation and teaches you that one can 'suck in' ghosts; nevertheless apart from these curiosities I think the overall project of this book, i. Hall's masterpiece, "The Secret Teachings of All Ages," is one of the few authoritative books on spirituality and occult wisdom that I have ever encountered. There is also a scanned image available of the typewritten French manuscript that was used for the most authoritative and complete editions of the book. He uses the images on the Marseilles Tarot trump cards as a point of departure to very eclectic observations.

Each card is loaded up a dozen different ways with elemental, astrological, and Kabbalistic (or Qabalistic, or whatever) correspondences, as well as some deep-cut symbolism that takes a lot of study and contemplation to understand. The trinitarian force, like the mystical concept of the Holy Trinity, represents three distinct bodies that are one. These qualities alone improve the student's ability to grasp the possibility of deeper levels of understanding in the book of Tarot .Much of the artwork is this really interesting, hyper-detailed mix of sacred geometry and psychedelic daydream vision that is packed full of symbolism. No matter which deck I pull out, it’s always a pleasure to see how much care and time was spent in the design of it. Really great deck, the first instance you look at them it is very overwhelming at just how much information there is on every card, so many symbols and shapes to wrap your head around. For instance, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit in Christianity; the Triple Goddess in Neopaganism; or the three promises of a relationship: love, honor, and protection in the Irish tradition. Once again, the Court cards are all marked with astrological symbols, although this time it’s a more complicated marking involving decanates (as opposed to just one sign per card).
