As with all of the products we have tried so far, we were very impressed with the LeapFrog Mr Pencil’s Alphabet Backpack. Little learners can play seven different activities and when they’re done, the plastic backpack holds all the pieces inside. However, seeing it help Ben practise his letters and sounds and encourage him to develop a love of writing while having fun is great, and I would definitely recommend it for preschoolers. My only worry is that eventually, some of the plastic letters will disappear, as they’re really quite tricky for little fingers to get them back into the slots.
