I really liked the first Lottie brooks book so I expected to much of this one but it was still a really good book it’s a funny book and you don’t have to stay super focused I would recommend it for when you can’t sit down and read it properly like in a waiting room or a busy holiday. Katie has managed to capture the essence of what this group think and feel in a positive, life-affirming fashion. They all set the story, and, you might now understand some of the jokes and references if you haven’t read them! Very funny, and also very relatable, the books are really good on there own but if you want some more character development and context I would read the first three.Lottie is 13 now and is trying to figure herself out like many other girls her age I definitely think it helps to know that other girls even if the are fictional are going through the same changes as all other girls!

The other school are horrible and Jess, her best friend, is spending more time with the new girl, Isha, jealous. The fourth instalment of Kirby's side-splitting series finds the hapless but lovable Lottie stuck on the school trip from hell as she fights off mean girls and comes to terms with her best friend spending all her time with the new student. Still look like a tomatoAm stuck indoors whilst my friends go bowling without me (rude)My parents are leaving me to go out on a 'Date Night'.I am glad her birthday worked out good and that her parents stopped questioning her weirdness 😂 I can’t wait for the next book! Bedoel, er waren echt wel leuke stukjes maar ik vond het hele Daniel/Frans vriendje niet echt tof van Lottie, Frans vriendje was echt heel vreemd opeens zo ging hij van echt een leuke jongen naar een rotjong die een hele harem heeft en ik heb nog steeds geen idee of hij weet wat er is gebeurd of dat hij echt een eikel is, Amber vond ik ook op punten vreselijk, Puntneus sorry Phoebe was verschrikkelijk, Lottie maakte er echt een drama van, en vader/broer van Lottie mogen best eens wat aardiger zijn tegen Lottie. The other girls staying at the camp are MEGA-MEAN, best friend Jess is spending all her time with new girl Isha, and Lottie's diary gets stolen!
