About this deal

The initial spray is fresh and fruity, I can smell the dragon fruit and coconut, and shortly after it ventures into playful juicy white florals that do feel cheerfully feminine.

This was my signature for the first two years of high school (though when I use it, I spray a lot less on now! I got a small tester from a friend and I have absolutely enjoyed the Dot but to think I would have to spend so much money for something that doesn't have a great projection and doesn't last long? I’ve had this since senior year of high school and I always try to find it and repurchase it when I run out. I have always found dragonfruit to lack a bit in taste, so I cannot really detect that note in this perfume. So going back to the perfume, I personally wear this at night, has a very strong lasting effect and hints of vanilla makes it very warm. These fragrances are often constructed in a different manner to the traditional French Model and are formulated in one single burst. Nice perfume very nice but am disappointed they didn't work hard to come up with something completely new. Edit: I received a bottle of this for a Valentine's day gift and, to my pleasant surprise, I picked up a bit more red berries from a fresh bottle rather than the large, uncapped bottle I had been smelling at my work. The top note captivates with a delectable blend of red berries, succulent dragon fruit, and sweet honeysuckle.

I feel like they are pushing these more exotic-sounding notes to distract their consumers from what a bland and commonplace fragrance it really is. Considering that my shelves are currently quite crowded, in this case I decided to try a sample first. Everyone seems to like daisy and I can get the appeal but I do think is has more depth and personality . As for the age range, I imagine that this is for someone 20s-mid 30s, although of course you can wear any scent at any age. Then about 30 minutes in, I start smelling Jasmine with hints of Coconut/Vanilla and about 2 hours later my skin has a lovely scent of Woodiness with a Vanilla Musk note. This is young and girly, the bottle is a big clue to that, fun and fruity, but sensible enough to not overdo it. Dot is the more adventurous sister, the traveler, bolder, perhaps with darker coloration and more exotic features. Anyway Dot is very safe perfume to wear, tropical fruity, and on me is more warm than fresh so I would say is more appropriate for the winter time than summer, but I guess it all comes down to your skin chemistry. I was looking forward to smelling an array of tropical fruits, but all I got was garish, artificial notes of something.

Dot is the lighter, fresher, gentler, more daytime one and Purr is a bit darker, more dramatic, abrasive and suited for nights and winter. Cheery berry; then dragonfruit and honeysuckle resolve, for me, into something like watermelon bubble gum, but in a very appealing way.I imagine this to be worn by a carefree, seasoned traveler who is happiest when exploring far away lands and immersing themselves in other cultures, which is who I am and who I want to be. Which again, may be because I associate this scent with my travels around the world, and May or may not have anything to do with the scent, but I must have had some reason to choose this scent for that purpose, right? Overall: Beautiful, understated scent profile, and an average performance for a light summer wearing experience, this is the perfect scent for when you're slightly overdressed or when you want to fly under the radar. It has the juiciness from the fruit that sort of mimics watermelon, and there's a lovely soft floral undertone. All I get from this is some REALLY watery, nondescript fruits, some nondescript florals, and something peppery but also hard to pinpoint.
