About this deal

The turret rotates 180 °, the main gun and side guns can be angled for fun and the designer has even two built-in Spring Shooters under the machine.

The new AAT is not a large set, with just three bags and a couple of large curved pieces loose in the box, alongside the instruction booklet and two-sticker sticker sheet. There is more printing here, showing her signature dark blue strikes and a small silver circlet, and it is excellently designed. As mentioned before, the clones in the 332nd company paint their helmets in the pattern of Ahsoka’s tattoos as a mark of respect, and a delightful addition to this set.

Though five different versions of Ahsoka were made in Lego form, somewhat surprisingly, this Ahsoka is only one (of two versions) that does not have freakish Clone Wars art-style printing. This Star Wars: The Clone Wars set comes with easy-to-follow, printed instructions so they can build independently… and feel Jedi-level awesome!

The build of they 286 piece set was pretty satisfying, though it did not take more than 40 minutes - our highly experienced 7-year old brick master had little trouble putting it together. As always this is another Lego set that is of super high quality and the modularity is second d to none. This action-packed set comes with 2 LEGO Star Wars™ minifigures – Ahsoka Tano and Ahsoka's Clone Trooper – AAT Driver Battle Droid and Battle Droid LEGO figures, and assorted weapons to inspire role play. The completed AAT model looks attractive and stands out in collection - we didn’t have any Star Wars Lego vehicles in blue yet and have a chronic shortage or Clone Wars equipment, my son reminds me on a daily basis.

The outfit of this new minifigure based on the seventh season of the animated series The Clone Wars is roughly the same as seen on screen, but it lacks the forearm protections to really convince. Adding to the play value is the ability to at least place the two droids that come with the set in the interior. Anyway, for all intents and purposes the turret should not be any wider than the extended handle it’s situated on and I feel that this is a typical case where the LEGO side of things got too much in the way. The box itself is noteworthy for featuring the “Ahsoka Trooper” in the upper-right corner rather than Kylo Ren or another character unrelated to the set itself (but shared across the lineup, as is often the case). Recreate all the action from Star Wars: The Clone Wars with this amazing Armoured Assault Tank (AAT) from the LEGO Star Wars range.Kids can enjoy hours of epic battle action with this LEGO® Star Wars: The Clone Wars Armored Assault Tank (AAT) building set (75283). At just 286 parts, the build itself is quite quick, and not really worth dwelling on in this review. Simply lift the clear case up from the base for easy access and secure it back in the grooves once you're done for ultimate protection.
