What I absolutely did love about this book was the further development of Slade and Hutch's relationship as brothers. Slade and Joslyn interacted more in the last book than Kendra and Hutch did in this one; there was quite a lot of inner dialogue this go around.

Perhaps the author just didn't feel the need to add in a true child's touch to her voice, but it felt wrong to me. No matter if you are learning how to ski for the very first time, or consider yourself the best skier on the mountain, Big Sky Resort promises to leave you with a perma-grin and with memories to last a lifetime. However, there were so many funny and heartwarming moments it was easy to settle back and hang on for the ride.Honestly at this point I can't even tell you what the story is about, I had thought it would be a cowboy romance with a fun twist the Kendra and Hutch were old lovers that fell apart a while ago, but now I'm sitting here scratching my head trying to figure out what the story is telling me. Albert is a talking moose in fact and Rosa quickly makes friends with a whole host of other animals, all perfectly able to have a chat. This gentle, inclusive tale explores the effects of bullying and demonstrates the importance of tolerance and kindness. She wonders if Grandma Nan ever gets lonely with only a few visits a year from the pilot who brings her supplies.
