The ending caught me totally off guard as I was sure I had it all figured out, but I was very wrong, Ms Flint saved the best for last. i did not have a good time reading this at all and i love to feel uncomfortable when reading extreme horror. I would hesitate to say I enjoyed the book, given the harrowing subject matter, but it definitely held my interest and was a compulsive read and I would definitely look for more by this author. I was lucky in that I had a big pool of women around me most of my life and could afford to run at the first sign of crazy.
