I have still 1 months warranty and car was recently serviced before I purchased (agree, prob oil job only). Now when the first incident happened it was on it day 60 of a 60 day warrenty, so I'm not sure how things are going to play, all should be fine but I've already had issues with the garage, mainly due to them smashing the bumper before I picked it up and then not wanting to pay the 1000 to replace and buckling my alloy. I'm tempted to think one of the sensors you mention could be responsible - can anyone else narrow it down further?

I think they disabled this though with some newer ones, due to people taking them back for faults etc. My only worry is that, when it comes to trading-in time, I may not be able to shift my Yeti anywhere other than my local Škoda dealership.The dpf light has never came on just the eml light sayin dpf pressure sensor but i replaced that ad no light again so far! I know where you`re coming from when you say it might not have been done but I have no choice but to trust him or anybody else for that matter. Without the function of the precat (an exothermic reaction) you can not generate the heat in the exhaust gas required for successful regen. Im using the app so cant see ur model, my had 73k on clock, u could just change the faulty one but in my opinion the rest could be on thier last legs too?

Why oh why can’t manufacturers put some kind of indicator in place to tell the driver that the DPF burn is in progress so they can choose to keep going until it completes? I connected a 4 prong generator inlet to a 2 breaker panel box using an 8/3 service wire (2 hots, a ground, and neutral). Beware not to take drain plug right off as i did this once and had to get rac chap out as air had got in and it wouldnt start good luck! Just been out for 29 mile drive on a reasonably fast A road (no d/cways anywhere near here) mostly with the gearbox held in 5th and at 2,500rpm, hopefully flushed out the DPF and fan wasn’t on when I stopped, with either engine on or shut down. the only way you truely know whether you need to change the glow plugs is when your car starts to struggle on cold mornings when starting it such as the mornings we are having.

This might concievably have been because, until the representative showed up to view my car, it was unclear whether the repair works would be covered under warranty. There is allegedly another EGRunit, where the take off pipe comes out from the exhaust - buried deep at the back of the engine.
