About this deal
Fortunately for photographers everywhere, the last factory producing their instant film in the Netherlands was purchased by "Impossible" who had to reinvent many of the chemicals and processes but kept producing.
The results were better than expected and looked just as good if not better compared to some iType camera shots. And because OneStep 2 and Now cameras have their own rechargeable batteries, Polaroid doesn’t have to put one in the film.
In my experience it has lasted well past the expiry date - I've shot packs over a year expired and they were fine, so you don't need to worry about shooting it all at once.
Even though digital was clearly becoming the future of photography, there were still many artists and photographers out there who loved the instant analog film format. If you are interested in good quality instant films, you should check out the Polaroid Originals SX-70 and the Polaroid Color Go Film. Both of these cameras can use I-Type film, Polaroid Originals 600 film, and vintage Polaroid 600 film.
