About this deal
Your lads will run your tank down to abt 100/150 bar then that small unit will have to start off at that pressure to fill up to 300 with top end pressure being the hardest to make. There are no catches, no small print and no hidden terms and conditions, it really is as simple as it sounds. A pump was an option but I'd only just come out of a year of tennis elbow and I didn't want to risk a flare-up. At Just Air Guns we leverage the power of EPDQ from Barclays Bank to offer a 100% secure payment solution.
One slight technicality Mike, at certain times of the year we’re shooting 100’s of mice inside an egg farm, you can easily go through a tin of pellets each in an evening, the sheds are up to 140m long, we need a mobile air tank to service a number of shooters stationed within so we use a tank. Analogue shut off is not very accurate or easy to judge, would be better with a more accurate digital one but I usually wait and shut it off manually anyway using the bottle gauge so wasn't a deal breaker.but at the moment I am stymied to get it filled because it needs to be retested before filling and with lockdown it's a pain.
It is noisy, when the compressor is engaged it sounds like an old diesel truck engine but it works very well. When we tested, our Air Rover was able to fill a 216cc cylinder on an Air Arms S410 Classic from 90 Bar to 200 BAR in as little as 4. Its chunky water separator is staying dry so far but moisture is blown out of the bleed valve when opened, apparently it helps to keep the gun higher than the pump when filling. When dealing with high-pressure air, it does pay to have your wits about you and respect the system. Also the filter supplied will probably absorb any oil vapour but I went for a larger one filled with dessicant to remove any moisture. You can use engine oil as per the specs 5-40 iirc it's what I'm using as I have a bit already, compressor takes 300ml.
If you fancy the car battery route, then follow as above, but this time, select ‘DC12V’ on the red switch, then connect the two ‘jump lead’ cables to the plus, and the minus terminals on the car’s battery.I happened to have a BSA Scorpion Tactical lying about for my test period, and this pleasantly compact rifle does have quite a small cylinder. Whether you're a seasoned shooter or just starting, our compressors provide a reliable solution for maintaining air pressure.
