About this deal

Performance has been great in the longevity department but this never really projects loudly but again is noticeable up close ! The opening is very green and juicy conveying something similar to a fig like smell but with somewhat of a lavender and violet powdery vibe.

This one settles to something far less interesting, a lightly spiced soapy vibe of vetiver and geranium but with a bitter muskiness. A base of Sandalwood, Vetiver and Musk leaves behind a passionate and charismatic finish for the man who knows what he wants. I get the pink pepper not much anise though, it's a bit toothless to be honest and is a little confused. In the opening the pink pepper and grapefruit is very prominent making it sort of a sweet and spicy scent. This is a great alternative fragrance for fans of Jil Sander and works ideally either for the mature young man or the classic businessman. Only reviews that feature the label "Verified Review" have been checked to ensure that the author actually used or purchased the product. The scent is very stable, but unfortunatelly, almost all Hugo Boss' chemistry is too strong for my skin and body, I can spray it only to my hair. It’s definitely a time I’m wearing them, and Hugo Boss Selection is an eau de toilette which I love to wear.

The highlights are the top and heart, which last the first two hours are dominated by the well blended pink pepper and citrus. It is unlike other aromatic fougeres in that it does not have an real defined green "ferny" note but the geranium more than makes up for that. But after one week something in it made everything boring and dull , may be because it was not dynamic , remained linear all through. This is really an attempt at a more professional, office ready version of Hugo Energise for more mature audiences, with the same excellently blended pink pepper note that made Higo Energise so magnificent, but without the masculine woods that helped push Energise off the skin to radiate stronger for others to notice. I remember sampling it one I came out, and all I got out of it was the star anise which was a complete no - no back in the day for me.

as the description of the cologne says "BOSS Selection embodies the style of Boss man: he is confident, succesfull and elegant". Complementary fragrances can be recognised in the collection to which it belongs: Hugo Boss Selection.

It does not overpower, but at the same time, there is no mistaking that it is making its presence felt. While to my nose it initially promises to be far warmer scent than it actually is, it is not disappointing whatsoever. If you do not update your preferences, we will assume that you are happy to receive amazing offers and news. It’s such a nice and pleasant scent, whether you’re looking to bolster your fragrance wardrobe or have that one scent for this season, it works.Still worthy of a purchase if you are looking for a classy, subtle office scent that is versatile enough to be worn year-round, day or night. As stated by others before me this is not anything new or earth-shaking, but it is a very good scent that is fresh without being aquatic, warm but not too spicy, slightly floral without the usual overdose of lavender and earthy yet not dirty, musky or overly woody. You can always check out more of my perfume reviews if you’re looking for a new scent or just want a catch up on the latest fragrance reviews here at Michael 84. Combining the ever tired combo of pink pepper and grape in the opening, reveals the lackluster amount of creativity poured into this bottle. At the same time, it has a freshness and lightness about it making it a very modern fragrance experience. It opens up with slightly sweet fresh spicy, citrusy, floral and warm spices notes in the background then dry down is semi sweet musky woody. The ad campaign features popular German actor Thomas Kretchmann (King Kong, The Downfall, Next, Resident Evil-The Apocalypse, Immortel, The Pianist, U-Boat, “24” ). This isn't bad, but there's something about it that reminds me of a CK cologne - it's a little too generic and linear for my taste.
