First released in 1944, Captain Morgan Rum began life in Puerto Rico when the Seagram Company set up the Captain Morgan Rum Company. A label signed by Captain Morgan that should always be ready for your cocktail parties: it will not disappoint you!
The resulting Rum is rested in charred white oak barrels, and after this aging process, it is bottled and made available for sale. Matured in charred American white oak bourbon barrels, this rum contains notes of rich natural vanilla, brown sugar, dried fruit, warming spices and hints of oak.
