Children would put a tooth under their pillow for the tooth fairy, but in the morning they would wake up to find. Ebooks fulfilled through Glose cannot be printed, downloaded as PDF, or read in other digital readers (like Kindle or Nook). He has gone on to take the children’s literary world by storm, dominating sales charts and twice winning the National Book Awards Children’s Book of the Year.

So I decided to read his book and I wanna say what I said a million times(probably not) in this review. David's books have achieved unprecedented critical acclaim - and both RATBURGER and DEMON DENTIST won the National Book Awards Children's Book of the Year. This delightfully dark offering from comedian-turned-bestselling author David Walliams is certain to entertain young readers. Enter Miss Root, the demon dentist, a ghastly-looking dame of undeterminable age (though decidedly ancient), with a vampiric (white, to break the stereotype) cat, who is on a sinister mission involving lots of children's teeth and thwarted tooth-fairy gifts, which are replaced by dad slugs, live spiders, and even old men's toe nails.I thought this book was scary first when they have to close there eyes in assembly for a dentist it was really scary and i loved to because you showed how they really felt and their actions! The people who read this made their own decision to get ths book, if they are frightened by the demon dentist, it's their problem not anyone elses. The story and narrative kept up its unique style and quality throughout, and towards the end gave that much needed excitement and unpredictability that any really good children's book of today really needs in bucket loads! His tenth novel, BAD DAD, was an immediate number one, following the triumph of THE MIDNIGHT GANG, the biggest-selling children’s book of 2016. It is up to Alfie and fellow outcast, the tiny girl with straggly hair and sardonic wit, Gabz, to save the day.

But really, I have been seeing a few reviews saying it is frightning and apparently not sutable for children. The book is littered with a colourful cast of characters, from Winnie the large, meddlesome social worker who has a penchant for loud clothing and romps around in a too-small moped; Raj, the neighbourhood newsagent with a timid heart of gold, and the totally guileless policeman, PC Plank. In 2008 David’s first children’s book The Boy in the Dress was published, illustrated by Quentin Blake. To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average.

Initially I had bought a few of the David Walliams books for my son as was recommended in the school read list. He went to art school in Liverpool and has since worked as a typographer for design and advertising agencies. Having started from humble origins, Joe’s father is now a billionaire, and Joe has everything he wants, except true friends. Fourthly (Made -up word alert) is that everything in this book is absolutely perfect , from the point where Mrs Root arrived to the tooth witch's death. The David Williams books are exciting and engaging and never fails to impress with the brilliant content and illustrations. If people are getting scared by a flipping book, then they're obviously soft and need to get a grip. Walliams has been turning out since 2008, then long may it continue - and long may he reign for giving so much laughter to kids of all ages - even ones like myself in their sixth decade! Alfie and Gabz are determined to get to the bottom of the mystery - but no-one could have dreamed what they'll discover when they come face to face with the demon dentist herself, in this hilarious and thrilling story! This was SUCH a delightful book and SO enjoyable to read, I was SO sad to reach the end of it - I just wanted it to go on and on and on! in the children's chart and sold over half a million copies in less than a year, while the PBs of his previous titles dominate the UK charts.
