About this deal
Listen I’m not going to pretend like this book was GOOD but for some reason it was interesting enough and HILARIOUS that I couldn’t stop reading.
The bitch that took your picture, is also criminalized by those laws but she just screwed herself over massively by possessing child pornography. We’d all seen the videos—the fae had portaled into the middle of San Francisco in a big, red, glowing cloud of what could only be magic. They made me wear a cloth diaper and plastic pants and camisole under my dress and i felt quite weird! She’s strong but sensitive, has good intuition and very pragmatic about the circumstances she finds herself in.
I've known that I was a girl ever since kindergarten when the bully Chuck spilled paint all over my play clothes. All this is so disappointing, as the world, story-line, and where it’s all going, are really well done. Idk maybe I'm reading too much into it and it's not a big deal, but it just felt covertly fatphobic. This is an enemies-to-lovers type of romance but fortunately our hero Auden is pretty lovable almost from the get-go, so rooting for Auden-November! I am 15 and was baptized this past Easter sunday,April 9th,at Raster sunday mass along with other kids and i am still recovering from it.
The book opens with November being spirited onto an island taken over by otherworldly fae men, and start building friendships as well as getting used to new powers and husband! It was kind of hard to follow, and I found myself flipping back a few pages to make sure I was following one central theme correctly. So when the fae are described as beautiful and they start turning into their female equivalent what's that saying about how they looked before? A) they were all orphans, which I would not consider “average” B) our main character was an ACCOMPLISHED pianist - I know for sure that’s not “average”.
