I will admit to having a bit of a frown when I saw that there was no mid EQ control, as this would be the first or second thing I’d be turning down, however the characteristics of the system seem to be such that the 12dB HF and LF cut/boost controls do actually provide enough adjustment, and there isn’t any noticeable mid-range peakiness to worry about. I have had my Eon Compact for about 8 months and used them around 4 times, now batteries won't charge, just sits with a red battery indicator.
