Astro doesn't integrate quadrilateral keystone correction or horizontal keystone correction, which is not a problem if Astro is placed on a leveled surface. It is also missing an official blessing from Netflix, so Netflix content only streams at a low resolution as well. Picture was tested from a distance of about a metre, giving about a 30 ins picture, to 3 metres giving about 100 ins picture, and in the dark room it looked fine at either size.

Unfortunately, like the other Nebula projectors, the Astro isn’t “officially” certified by Google, so Google Play Services are not present on the Android 7. ANSI Lumens is really low, increase the brightness level to 200 ANSI lumens, helpful for projection during the day. I do like the remote control on the phone app but it takes some getting used to, but easy enough to navigate and you don’t have to worry about forgetting the remote. When using the apps, you’ll need to open the companion Nebula app on your phone to engage “mouse mode” which simulates touch input for the Netflix app.Connect wirelessly from your smart device with Bluetooth, stream over Wi-Fi, or connect via HDMI or USB. With up to 4 hours of battery life, you can watch a quick movie or catch multiple episodes of your favourite TV show. Projector Setting: This has options on the Image Mode mostly focused on battery usage and brightness. You can download and use the apps directly through the Astro to view copyrighted content from these providers (Chromecast is not supported). These are handy and good settings if the Astro needs to be mounted / placed at elevation or ceiling mounted, has vertical, Horizontal and quadrilateral keystone corrections.

Enabling Parental Controls also creates kind of 2 profiles – one for kids, and other for parents / regular user. Control the Astro remotely from your smart device with the Nebula Connect app (available on iOS and Android). With parental control enabled, if the settings gear icon is chosen, then the Parental control page opens, prompting for the password / pin, and upon successful pin, allows access to the Control section for items discussed above. This is because the packaging branding doesn't have a children theme at all, which would help consolidate Astro's identity as a children's projector. On a Full Charge, I was able to project for a total time of 2 hr 25min (1st test) , 2 hr 32min (2nd Test).

Remote Dark Black Bar, is slightly bigger compared to what I had from Capsule and Prizm, design has been made for kids’ convenience, my kids liked the controls. The software sometimes lags and the remote becomes unresponsive, though that may be due to limited processing on the Astro.
