I would highly recommend this book to anyone who likes contemporary fiction which includes a little community with a host of fantastic characters. I really enjoyed getting to know both of them, and spent a fair bit of the book hoping they would come to their senses about the various men in their lives!

Sometimes it dragged on a little, and I’d wanted to have only Didi’s and Shay’s POV instead of others like Rosa’s and Layla’s. Her style isn't flashy: there is no coy "meet-cute", no extraneous and unnecessary detailed description of what people are wearing or eating, it doesn't rely on trite and banal "witty" banter, she doesn't beat the reader over the head with word-count-increasing extraneous repetition and she isn't trying to impress me with arcane "literary" vocabulary and precious prose, and finally she doesn't fill the story with steamy sex scenes that I usually skip over because they are often cliché. All of the characters have a role to play and all of them have a plot thread and their chance to shine.Having said all that, I feel good giving this book 5 stars, thank you Jill for another wonderful read. Niet in ieder licht leest het lekker en met het boek kan ik voortaan gewichtheffen, maar niemand kan zeggen dat het niet origineel is. Hij kan en mag niet nog eens haar leven overhoophalen, zeker niet nu ze verloofd is en eindelijk gelukkig is.
