About this deal
December 7th 2019: The Rote Funken (Red Sparks), the oldest Carnival society in Cologne, invited me to sing at their yearly gala dinner. All we've come to expect from an André Rieu concert - nobody can throw a party like he can on stage - and much as I like the soloists he has with him now, it's also lovely to see just Andre and the JSO on their own, as it was in the earlier days, especially the enthusiasm and jumping during the Chianti Song!
Audio descriptions (AD) refer to a narration track describing what is happening on screen to provide context for those who are blind or have low vision. This Gala concert, recorded in December 2002 at Hamburg's Colour Line Arena, shows an energetic Andre, in party mood, complete with streamers and balloons befitting a New Year's celebration. André Rieu is unparalleled in his ability to interact with his audience from the stage and succeeds in getting everyone up on their feet with his fantastic blend of waltzes, music from movies, musicals, and the opera, and hit songs. It's such a neat change to be on stage with ballet dancers, or to be accompanied by a symphony orchestra while I sing a song I composed myself.
On February 23rd 2016, Béla posted a review to the New Year’s concert in Zrenjanin (Serbia) on his Facebook timeline.
I want to take this opportunity to let you know how much I appreciate each and every one of you for showing an interest in me, my life and my career. Yesterday he posted the song "Over the Moon" on Facebook, which he wrote himself and performed it in a live radio show in Novi Sad (Serbia), 2 years ago.
