The film itself biographical tells of Farrokh "Freddie" Bulsara (Freddie Mercury) from the time he joined the band in 1970 up to and including the 1985 Live-Aid Concert at Wembley. Remi Malek is excellent in the lead role as are the supporting cast, in particular Lucy Boynton who I think played a great part. Freddie who has now changed his name to that which we all know him by soon inspires the group to cut an album which is soon followed by offers of management and a recording contract. After the show, he sets out to meet the student band members Brian (Gwilym Lee) and Roger (Ben Hardy) finding that the lead-singer had quit saying the band was going nowhere. Secondly, we were even more overwhelmed by the music and the Wembley performance in particular, simply phenomenal and unprecedented to experience in an intimate manner on the big screen. Bohemian Rhapsody is still being shown at cinemas including Cineworld, Vue and Odeon although there are fewer screening times now.
