This week I have been encouraging Esther and William to use the set as a stand alone before it becomes part of our immense collection of track and accessories. We have been on a few different underground trains, both in the UK and Barcelona, so they liked acting out their previous journeys too.We have put the train set away for Christmas (after a quick play to review the set) so my boys are very excited for it to come back again! The metro engine is wonderful for little train drivers as the faster you drive it around the tracks the brighter and louder it becomes.The movement of the wheels, the colours and how the train fits on the track develop early reasoning and fine motor skills.
