I enjoyed Constantine's character a lot in this as he's a character I don't know a lot about but I liked his wit and energy a lot.With that, Constantine, Zatanna, Detective Chimp, Blue Demon and Ragman accompany Swamp Thing to Australia, while the others escort the survivors to Ivy's safe haven in Gotham. Phantom Stranger and Zatanna go to Paris to aid Constantine against Trigon, while Superman and Batman ventured to the bunker, where they witnessed the carnage of the Amazos first strike. Damian punches Constantine for causing Red Hood's death, and Spectre appears in front of Constantine but leaves looking into his mind and seeing his plan.

Batman succumbs to the infection and attacks Alfred, Alfred apologizes to Bruce before shooting him. I'm not sure I've ever liked them more, as Taylor's version of these two now-adult superheroes was just about as perfect as it was subtly surprising. Zatanna and the Phantom Stranger confront Constantine on his actions but, following another message from Etrigan, Constantine tells everyone that the villains are about to unleash their Amazo army to destroy the Anti-Living.Constantine's spirit says goodbye to Zatanna, accepting that his actions have also destroyed his own soul. In Australia however, the League wasn't fairing well against the Amazos and it was in Magnus Labs that Cyborg infects the Amazos with a virus, which shut down all the other Amazos.
