About this deal

I definitely wouldn’t condone some of the things that happened in the book, but it made sense to the characters and the story. Silvan and Sophie’s story won’t change, but there will be added Coastal Elite bonus content in this edition. I swear this guy always kept in mind what was in Aubrey's best interest 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻), you don't let any other man touch you, and you have a bright future laid bare ahead of you. Stitches got an anniversary edition this year (which includes the short story featuring our throuple that is in A Valentine’s Day Treat so you have all the Seb/Moira/Griff words all in one place). I think a need a psychological evaluation, because every rational part of my being says I should not be so in love (or turned on) by this man’s antics.

It is part of the Blurred Lines multi-author series (and I took the “Blurred Lines” aspect pretty seriously, hahaha) but the books aren’t connected, so you don’t have to read anything before you read this one. And for fans of teacher-student romance, Noelle’s frighteningly hot teacher has his eye on her—in fact, he can’t seem to take them off her. He just put his hand on her mouth and kept the ball rolling as if the muffled sounds of his girl's protests were the best prelude he could have ever asked for. I offered signed “extra special” editions of the Even if it Hurts discreet cover with raised glossy title font, and I’ve always planned to make those for the rest of the series, too, I was just waiting for Contempt and Surrender to release so I could do those and Undertow at the same time.Considering he's allowed to be with other people and has been pretty active smexually, I thought he was going to continue being the hoooooar that he's been. Aubrey, once she honed in on Dare’s lack of a social compass, had to make a decision on if her love for him was worth her own moral weight. But then the story ends, seeming like Dare is just asserting his dominance and alphaness, and is only into Aubrey. At first the red flags are gentle and ‘typical’ of such types of characters but slowly then suddenly they build.

Everything flows perfectly, the pace, the characters, the dialogue, the off-the-chart sex, the almost macabre sexual deviations. This is a high spice standalone dark romance with a morally flexible “hero” and is intended only for a mature adult audience. The man said yes i stapled her hands to the bench and was going to ram a object up her and she found that dedicated.

I really never knew what Dare or Anae was going to do which made it exciting and page turning to read. In this I feel like she stays with him purely through fear and trauma and has absolutely no mind of her own.

I feel if this happens it's similar to her other content and I actually like Dare in the sense that he is a true villain. Anae gives Dare a task to make Aubrey fall in love with him, but that task involves a lot more than just that. I love these end-of-year wrap-ups because they give you a chance to pause and really look at all you’ve accomplished in a given year. NO one conveys this psychological tension with such deft artistry as Sam Mariano- it’s mesmerizing, completely- because it’s the EXACT psychological journey we are taking as a reader, grappling with our own longing for the hero. You see, there was this one girl who wrote an insulting haiku about our sweet Aubrey (notoriously famous for being a girl of iron will, her principles made of steel).

If she isn’t reading one of the thousands of books on her to-read list, writing her next book, or playing with her adorable preschooler… actually, that’s about all she has time for these days. I could detail what your life would look like if you ever cheated on me, how I would cut you out of the life you’re living and transform my love into the metal bars that form your new home. Although the rest of the swim team is there as well, no one else tries to help- because Queen B Anae😒 doesn't want anyone to help her. See the opening author's note for more explicit warnings, but know this is a very dangerous relationship with a very dark hero.

Their self-aware and unapologetic- they more than accept their twistedness, rather, they expect everyone else to adapt to their needs and methods- including the heroine. How does Sam Mariano always make me fall so madly in love with psychotic, toxic, manipulative book boyfriends? And that’s one of the aspects I really enjoyed about this book, how open Aubrey is about all the wrong she sees in Dare, the harm he does to others, the inappropriate things he’s done with her. Rather than classifying the story as dark, I'd describe it with adjectives like disturbing, arresting, memorable, evocative. But instead of putting up a little fight or at least filing a police report for the sexual assault, this girl softly kissed the hand that was effectively muffling her pleas to stop?

I told you Hannah would only be in danger if you left me, and you weren’t thinking about doing that, were you?
