About this deal

We offer a number of extras to enhance your brewing experience, including an extra portafilter to brew consecutive shots without cleaning first and a temperature strip for improved heat management. Brewing with a Flair is more like cooking a meal for yourself, as opposed to getting takeout or using the microwave. Not only can the PRO 2 benefit from an additional portafilter or our Second Shot Plus Kit, you’re always welcome to purchase any of our other brewing heads, with an adaptor of course! What is also handy, is that it shows you in the instructions how to put it all back in ;-), although this is fairly straightforward once you've done it once or twice.

Features the PRO 2 Brew Head with a 70ml reservoir and a stainless steel portafilter that accepts 16-24 grams. I have no easy way of measuring the true applied water pressure in the Flair, but my best, slightly educated mathematical guess is, based on the lever canter, length, pressure applied and the materials used (and their resulting effect on pressure loss, it’s around 6 to 8 bars of pressure applied; going higher than this can result in potential gasket failures. We offer a number of additional options to enhance your brewing experience, including an extra portafilter and brew head to brew consecutive shots without cleaning first.MAJOR BREWING UPGRADES – The Flair PRO 2 features three upgrades over Flair’s other manual espresso makers including a removable stainless steel spout, an enhanced all-stainless steel bottomless portafilter with improved flow dynamics, and a silicone lever grip for better brewing ergonomics. Designed to produce cafe quality espresso at a fraction of the cost, Flair espresso makers are simple to use and highly rewarding. It was big and beefy with a lot of metal to retain water heat as well, and the shots tasted amazing from this device, no doubt aided by the sweetness boost the N20 gas provided to the brewing espresso shot. You can choose to start by pressing down slightly just to saturate the bed of coffee (it’s already been saturated just by the weight of water sitting above it, but adding a bit of lever pressure will fully saturate the puck), or you can just start applying constant, firm pressure (around 30-40lbs of arm pressure) to start the shot flow. But one of the more exciting one to be released in recent memory is the Flair Espresso Maker, which is the subject of this review.

In each test, we added just-off-boil water from a Hario Buono Kettle, and we placed the cup elevated so it was as close to the exit spout as possible. Also, in the single group, two shots timing tests, I had to clean the piston brewhead assembly between each use, which is reflected in the times. Just keep in mind that if you do that you'll need to pre-heat the piston too, while there's no need to pre-heat the plastic piston. But we also offer coffee beans, ground coffee, Nespresso® compatible capsules (Nespresso® is a registered trademark belonging to a third party and having no link with MaxiCoffee), loose tea, iced tea, services to help businesses to find the perfect coffee solution and so much more? COMPLETE BREW CONTROL - The Flair PRO 2 features a custom pressure gauge with an Espresso Zone between 6-9 BAR, exactly that needed to create cafe-quality manual espresso extractions. The Flair Classic is the original Flair Espresso Maker that turned the craft coffee industry on its head in 2016. Parts that are more subject to normal wear and tear, such as O-rings, Silicone Sleeve, Piston, Pressure Gauge and Portafilter are warranted against defects in material, design or workmanship for six (6) months from the purchase date, although these items are expected to last beyond the warranty.
