About this deal
Once a toddler is out of the cot and into a bed, this is when the pitter patter of tiny feet begins to ring true. I can now report that since installing the Gro Clock in his bedroom the tantrums have greatly reduced with just an occasional whimper as we leave the room.
So when The Gro Company were looking for bloggers to review another of their products, I put myself forward and was really excited when they picked me!This updated version of the Gro-clock uses fun images of the stars and sun to communicate when to go back to sleep and when it’s time to get up.
You can use it as a nightlight, or for night feeds with a small baby – we have 2 of these Gro-Lights and have been using them for both purposes.
By counting down the stars and waiting for the screen to turn yellow, children learn what time they can get out of bed – as set by their parents.
We read him the story book and he was pretty engaged by it (but kept flipping the pages back to front! The Gro Clock has a few functions; it is a night light, an hourly count down timer, and it can even be used as an alarm. Using images of the stars and the sun, and colours to represent each (blue and yellow, respectively), the clock teaches your kid when he’s supposed to be sleeping and when he’s allowed to wake up, using the times you've preset. You can choose to display the digital time or not, handy for helping to teach older children the time. However, all the opinions expressed about the Gro Clock in this review are wholly my own and have not been influenced in any way other than by our experience of using it.
