Well, I loved Sebastian as soon as he catched Ziggy’s panties and refused to give them back-wow, that sounded weird, but if you read the book you'll understand. It is so accurate that dining out becomes a new experience and something that you need to plan for and not simply show up at. I do wish we'd had more time spent at the Halloween/birthday party, because that chapter just seemed to fizzle out.Despite coming into her own as a professional soccer player and independent adult, Ziggy still feels like she is not taken as seriously by her family and the public as she wants. On the downside, there were some loose ends at the conclusion of this book that I would have liked to be wrapped up better, including the Bergman parents’ financial struggles and Seb’s rocky relationship with his parents and stepfather. After an unfortunate encounter with her brother Ren's best friend and hockey teammate, Sebastian Gauthier, at a wedding where he caught her underwear, Ziggy is determined to be noticed and not fade into invisibility, as he once referred to her. I’m very excited for Viggo’s story, the next and final Bergman Brothers book which is expected in 2024 as Viggo is one of my favourite Bergmans since he’s very into reading historical romance, so I just know that I’m going to love his story!

Ziggy feels like she’s never taken seriously or noticed much at all, and Sebastian needs some good attention for once, not bad. What better way to do that than hanging out with trouble incarnate and her brother’s best friend, Sebastian Gauthier?

I appreciated how easy it was for them to communicate, that they felt safe enough to be vulnerable around each other. Then, when she stepped closer, and I had a chance of seeing her, her hair was down-it's never been down before-and in the dying light of sunset it was a sheet of molten bronze curtaining her face, nothing like the fiery red that Ren and his little sister share.

I can feel that she has a lot of wisdom and the way that she shares it through her stories is beautiful. This also made me wanna reread both FreyaAiden's as well as RenFrankie's books; and I cannot WAIT for Viggo's! But while he looks like he could spread some epic Faery King wings and whisk me off across the night sky to his palace, he is not one of my fantasy romance heroes. Seb’s not willing to actually change his destructive ways, but he’s happy to pretend he’s a reformed reprobate by faking a friendship for publicity with sweet, shy Ziggy Bergman.

I plan to hide in a book this evening, always a sure way to distract myself from real life’s complications. She is truly talented and has a way with her words that touches the soul of a reader and oh my gosh i loved this book so much, the slow burn, the intensity and seb in his entirety is all perfection. i’m literally a bergman idc like i was raised with them elin and alex are my parents that’s literally my family my dna my blood. I love Ren and Frankie so much (I'm so happy for them btw—and if you know, you know), and the way they support Ziggy?

Before someone can rope me into it, I scamper away across the sand, sandals hooked on my fingers, making a beeline for the elegant venue that boasts grand doors opened wide to the sights and sounds of the beach, the dwindling light mingling with ivory candles and floral centerpieces. Her relationship with her family wasn’t revolving only in the way they perceived her because the Bergman’s dynamic didn’t fail once again to create this warm feeling while reading about their beautiful bonds and how they always accept new members in their clan with open arms. Seb was an interesting addition, altho his intro was more than a little creepy - maybe I'm a prude, but nope.
