About this deal

The many other jokes are suitable for the target reader, and between them and the gators we learn all about life on board a ship.

With a book series like this (and, to be honest, all by this author), every kid will learn to love books. The InvestiGators are on the case of where the missing cruise ship could be as well as why the investor billionaire Mr. If you can help kids begin to love reading they will continue to grow as readers and many kids will love reading InvestiGators, which will help them become lifelong readers.

The Investigators series is a hit with boys and girls aged 7+ and covers themes like:- Teamwork- Resilience- Problem-solving. InvestiGators (Volume 1) • InvestiGators: Take the Plunge • InvestiGators: Off the Hook • InvestiGators: Ants in Our P. John lives in Brooklyn in an apartment that doesn't allow animals other than the ones living in his head.

I laughed so many times throughout the story and it was a fun fast read that really pulls in the read. With a detailed comic-strip format, lots of toilet humour and zany plot lines, you will be pestered for the sequel before it's published. This one also has one major problem, one that's not only worse, but is constant throughout every page.pun-heavy whodunnit graphic novel which is just as clearly laid out, colourful and silly as Dav Pilkey’s phenomenally successful series. This children's book is a literary gem, skillfully blending puns and humor that will have young readers and their parents chuckling with every turn of the page. Beyond annoying, confusing to read and I question how much the intended audience would even pick up on let alone understand. It is in the finish a fairly convoluted drama, but the style and everything is very amenable, the education and piratical fun will go down very well, and this will surely remain a decent entrant to this series. In high-intensity colors, straightforward panel artwork by Green (Hippopotamister) offers plenty of slapstick gags to Brash and Mango’s tale.

I don't want to spoil anything but C-ORB played a more prominent role here, which was long awaited and much deserved. Fans of the series will love following Mango and Brash as they bring the mystery to a satisfying conclusion with lots of laughs along the way. With its rampant good-natured goofiness and its unrelenting fizz and pep, this feels like a sugar rush manifested as a graphic novel. My son loves this graphic novel and finds it hilarious - Mini Travellers Blog You may also be interested in. You don't have to have read the other books in the series to be able to pick up this one and enjoy it, but they definitely build off of each other in more than just the footnotes way.I am a big fan of the InvestiGators and it is one of my top reader advisory recommendations that I give out a couple times a week at my library.

The very short rescue couldn't have been any fishier, when the captain seems to be quite in shock and shaken up terribly. But what truly elevates "InvestiGators: All Tide Up" is the captivating artwork that brings this comic book to life. Investigators has become a good new series to look out for and we simply can't wait to continue the story. We love snuggling up and reading these as a family, and I’m already excited to discover what Mango and Brash get up to on their next adventure. Like the heroes of Dav Pilkey’s Dog Man or Captain Underpants, the Investigators are bound to resonate with kids. There are so many puns that it can be a little much at times, but I suspect that kids would not catch all of them, and they and the malapropisms are definitely used as teachable moments for early and developing readers. Book Seven, as it is, gets four stars from me, for these refuse to talk down to the young, fail to alienate the old, and create reads that are certainly not disposable.
