About this deal

The album is a sequel to his first album, Ready to Die, and picks up where the last song, "Suicidal Thoughts", ends.

Biggie's second long-player was a huge slab of hip hop featuring a whole range of guests and a whole load of hits. The Life After Death 25th Anniversary Super Deluxe Boxed Set consists of 8-LPs and a commemorative booklet featuring rare photos from the album cover shoot, liner notes by Sheldon Pearce, and exclusive reflections from members of the team who worked on the original album release. Great pressing - smooth, balanced, not a hint of sibilance to be heard (except maybe a little on "Sky Is The Limit" - whatever). There are only a few interludes i don't like and The California Ode "Goin' Back To 'Cali" doesn't satsisfy me completely. We will be celebrating his 50th birthday, as well as the 25th anniversary of his iconic posthumous release, Life After Death. Released with a graphic insert sheet of the tracklist, additional credits, thank you's, and related information. Over the course of only two albums, he achieved every success imaginable, perhaps none greater than this unabashedly over-reaching success. Ready To Die is usually hallmarked as a classic of the East Coast Renaissance era, but his second effort definitely shows progression and maturity in regards to subject matter, lyricism, as well as beat selection.

Second and final studio album from the late great Christopher Wallce aka The Notorious BIG aka Biggie Smalls. It was nominated for three Grammy’s for this project: Best Rap Album, Best Rap Solo Performance for “Hypnotize” and Best Rap Performance by a Duo or Group for “Mo Money Mo Problems. A 2XCD album released shortly after his death Life After Death, to me, will always be his crowning achievement. All image and audio content is used by permission of the copyright holders or their agents, and/or according to fair dealing as per the UK Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988. there's considerable pleasure and fun to be had when an artist feels free to stretch out and try anything, and those pleasures are available in abundance on LIFE AFTER DEATH.Every record is shipped in original factory-applied shrink wrap and has never been touched by human hands. Ready to Die is a milestone album, for sure, but it's nowhere near as extravagant or epic as Life After Death.
