There are ways to use the tools available to get some of what you want but you also have to accept the compromise that from a brick based toy manufacturer there are going to be brick based toy sets and some of what you want are going to come with those sets. More importantly than it being too small, though, I just don't find the eternia set all that interesting. This buildable, LEGO-ish version looks patterned on the Classics iteration, which combined elements of the original toy and the various animated designs.

Finally the day has arrived where we can view official images of the Masters of the Universe Mega Construx Snake Mountain thanks to yo_tengo_el_poder! Some of the blocks did not want to snap together properly and took a little muscle to get them to snap together. I could not get the face on the left to attach without bulding up the layer underneath with spare parts. Now not only does this Snake Mountain needlessly mismatch to the first printing of Castle Grayskull, it makes fans like me just a little less joyful about it. My 13 year old definitely appreciated how both sides of this He-man kit were separated into a section 1 and section 2 and how each section came with its own booklets.
