About this deal

Overall, it's pretty good and I would recommend you read this if you want a graphic novel/book that doesn't require too much thought. I think this easy to read graphic novel format will be good for reluctant readers especially young Black readers who will be happy to see someone who looks like them on the pages of a book.

It’s also refreshing to see a young Black superhero, who is aided and abetted by his bestie, Ganke, who’s Korean American. Yourself and Bob are much cherished in our booky world and I personally really appreciate everything that you do. I was hoping this book would be like it because it has the same main character, but it wasn't very interesting.

OPPOSITE OF ALWAYS, his debut novel, was an Indies Introduce Top Ten Debut, a School Library Journal Best Book of 2019, translated in 17 languages, and is being developed for film with Paramount Players. As the excitement mounts and danger lurks, Miles has to somehow get to the bottom of the mystery and reveal the super-villain behind it all. He is committed to helping his mother with a fund-raising event for the island, when another crime-crisis erupts. You guys were so fab and Dawn was such a lovely presence in the schools - I will absolutely be in touch next time I'm in your neck of the woods.

A true middle-grade graphic novel starring one of Marvel's most popular characters, bestselling author Justin A. It doesn't feel shoehorned in though, and there's still plenty of action and humour as Miles tries to find the balance between his home and superhero responsibilities. Reynolds ( Opposite of Always) and Eisner award-nominated artist Pablo Leon ( Refugees) create a riveting story that will connect with new and well-versed comics readers alike. His new friend Kyle comes to him to tell that her father has disappeared and Miles suspects Vex and Trinity, two humanoids who have somehow gained superpowers and are intent on using them for nefarious purposes.I haven't charted out my visits for the summer term, but I'm sure there are several in the south) and thanks so much for being so fantastic! Full disclosure I'm not a Marvel reader, I'm not familiar with Mile's origin story, and I've never seen Into the Spiderverse. I read the first one when it was new and I got married at the same time that Peter Parker married MJ. It’s a fantastic independent book seller that will actually be responsive and select appropriate books for you.

I was at my last school for 4 years and we had ********* book fairs every term – and every term, I was disappointed by the narrow range of books. The art style throughout was just so vibrant and fun, like what you saw in the ‘Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse’ movie. His debut novel published by Katherine Tegen Books was an Indies Introduce selection, a School Library Journal Best Book, has been translated in seventeen languages, and is being developed for film with Paramount Players.

This story really combined everything you expect from comic heroes while also involving real life events like the earthquakes Puerto Rico was hit with. Marvel/Scholastic) Miles Morales: Shock Waves is the first of Marvel comics’ graphic novels aimed at young readers.Miles Morales is a normal kid who happens to juggle school at Brooklyn Visions Academy while swinging through the streets of Brooklyn as Spider-Man. He is not to be confused with the older, more experienced Spider-Man from Queens, although they are pals. An original middle-grade graphic novel from Graphix starring Brooklyn's Spider-Man, Miles Morales, by bestselling author Justin A. After a disastrous earthquake strikes his mother's birthplace of Puerto Rico, Miles springs into action to help set up a fundraiser for the devastated island.
