In 2014, the Jolt was re-released as a Zombie Strike blaster, packaged with the Target Set blaster set with Zombie Strike Darts.

It fires quite far for a small little nerf gun and really strings if you get hit in the neck or another skinless area. The Jolt was finally re-released into the N-Strike Elite series in 2015, with an opaque orange color scheme; this version notably lacks the additional shell on the muzzle, but later N-Strike Elite releases would include it. My daughter and my older son have nerf wars where they shoot each other one at the bottom of the stairs and one at the top. Great little one to add to the collection, remember you’re a kid for as long as you want to be, never grow up! Two other re-shell were released under the Rebelle series: the Knock Out Gallery blaster and the Code Red Collection Sweet Mystery.

The great thing compared to other Nerf guns is that it's virtually silent and very small, great for sneaking up on people with. Unfortunately the two darts it comes with aren't enough, so we ended up spending the same amount again on a pack of extra darts.
