Shooting in 48MP AI Ultra Clarity takes about six seconds and each photo eats up about 20MB, but if you want superior quality - this is the way. This 48MP AI mode works only with abundant light and you must switch to it manually from settings. Trying out Asphalt 9: Legends was not as bad as you may think. Sure, there’s a graphical downgrade that makes all the car models look a bit jagged around the edges, but the game still runs smooth and responds to the touch controls without delay. The 9X managed to stay pretty cool during my play session, too, despite the heavy processing that would have been going on. These narrow boats show up fairly well, making what was a scene lit only by distant lights on the other side of the canal look like a grim afternoon. However, the Pixel 3a conjures up something that looks like it was taken during a bright day. If you were looking for something that still looked like it was taken at night, maybe the Honor is more to your taste, but I really like how the Google phone was able to show me colors and detail I never would have been able to with my own eyes.The 60fps footage from the main camera is richer in detail and that's probably because there is no EIS involved like on the 30fps clips. Sadly though, performance is less stellar to my eyes. Not only does it seem to apply some pretty aggressive beautification settings, even when the settings are pushed to zero, skin tones take on a very light appearance. I’m pale, but I’m not this pale (middle is default, left is with beautification turned off, and right is with it set to max): BTW, I can use all apps perfectly now and of course, I find no differences between using the Google store on the HONOR 9X Pro and other phones. It’s better indoors, too. Though all phone cameras struggle with low-light conditions to some degree, budget and mid-range handsets suffer the most. Still, once again, the Honor 9X Pro has the upper hand: images are considerably less noisy, less blurry and have more detail. For an affordable smartphone, the Honor 9X has a big screen. It’s a 6.6-inch display, which is a little on the large side for a smartphone, so unless you have rather big hands it may be hard for you to properly use the device. Though this HONOR 9X Pro is a Chinese version model, the setting up process is generally the same. But I need the GMS! I searched on the Internet and finally I found the way! Great hardware, but without Google apps the Honor 9X Pro is impossible to recommend

It's captivating, it's immersive, it's powerful, and it's cheap - that's the Honor 9X Pro! There is a catch, of course, and it's the absence of anything Google on board. It's a problem that you can live with, but the most important question is whether the Honor 9X Pro is worth that hassle. Recently I bought an HONOR 9X Pro from China since it really has attractive features and price. It has triple-camera, including a 48MP main camera, and the powerful 7nm 810 chipset. This, to put it mildly, is unfortunate. Because if this stylish smartphone had all the trappings you’d expect software wise, it would surely get our seal of approval.
