About this deal
Most larger tents have two doors. We were disappointed to see the Eureka Copper Canyon LX 4 Tent and the Kelty Discovery Element have just one exit. Two doors make it much easier for multiple people to share the space without having to crawl over sleeping bags.
This Chinook Cot has an adjustable head incline, so you can keep this part at several different positions. All its legs are also separately adjustable and with pivoting feet, so this is a shape that will adapt easily to any surface. The comfort of a tent depends on personal taste and priorities. To evaluate comfort, we looked at ventilation, door and windows, floor space, and peak height. While a waterproof tent is a must, remaining breathable is a major concern. A comfortable tent will have plenty of room to move about and multiple entry points; (photo/Eric Phillips)It is padded and you have a high-quality memory foam so you do not need a mattress. The weight is 22.7 lb (10.3 kg), and this is quite typical for cots of this type.
This tent cot has impressively robust and stable construction. It is made using strong iron, and the foot is sturdy, which warrants better stability and holds a significant amount of strength. The canopy is made using polyester and oxford fabrics which are water and scratch-proof and wear-resistant.
The Eureka! Copper Canyon didn’t give us much trouble during setup thanks to its pole design, while the Big Agnes Big House 6 was more difficult to set up alone. This cot tent is free-standing equipment that can support itself on all kinds of terrain. The cot and the tent are attached via an elongated peripheral zipper. This blended with one major pole develops tension in the tent material, and it is entirely self-supporting and impressively stable.
