About this deal

This won’t win me any popularity contests, but honestly Cloud is nearly identical to the dry down, and performs better than BR540 in terms of projection and lasting power. I detect it strongly for a good 4-5 hours, and can smell it on clothing literally days after wearing it. Cloud is a little sweeter, a little more rounded edges, and skips the medicinal opening of BR 540. Because of its opening, I’d say that BR 540 is definitely more unisex. Cloud is linear, which to me is good news. I get right to the part I love about BR540 and skip the resiny note that I don’t care for as much.

Occasionally I would spray this on a wrist, but instantly regretted it. Then I forgot about the bottle for about a month or two. And the juice changed. I wasn’t sure if it was the perfume or my nose that changed so I tested it side by side with Vahines once again. It does change after you open it and let it “age” like a fine wine. The strong monoi oil and flower notes got way tamer, and the opening now has very sweet tropical flowers and a hint of orange/mandarin coming through. The sillage is good but unfortunately the longevity is terrible. I desperately want to find a way to make this last longer on skin as I really enjoy it but it is gone within 2 hours maximum which is so disappointing ,as its probably a more expensive celebrity perfume comparative to other celeb perfumes with better longevity. And considering the sweetness you would think it would linger. Sadly not. The bottle is really cute. I'm not an AG fan so i just turn it round. So, about Pink Flower. I do not like raspberry, alright. All raspberries smell SO artificial to my nose (I have found only two scents with raspberry in them, which are wearable for me, but still not the loved ones). Pink Flower is all about artificial raspberry on patchouli base. It is very harsh and strong in the beginning. It is very sour and sharp. Then comes a little bit of sweetness, but as I have already said it is not sugary sweet by any means. Patchouli base is there, but patchouli is okay, not strong and rounded. Perfume is simple, very linear, with weak longevity (less than 3 hours on the skin. Today is about 10C, seaside climate, wearing outside) and strong sillage only for the first 30 mins after 5 sprays (the scent is still there after 8h of wearing it on my hair). I can still smell the burnt sugar note from the original in this one too, which along with the licorice note in the OG, are the notes I could really do without. On me, this juice sings. No licorice, no burnt plastic, no cloying choke cloud. Just... peace. Coziness. A fuzzy sweater instead of a power suit. It melts and spreads in the air like ganache on cake. Doesn’t make me feel like I could lead a board meeting, but I could definitely be the office sweetheart that remembers birthdays and makes others feel loved. I gave this 4-5 tries. I really tried to make it work with this one. But it seems to be one that I will eventually pass on to someone else. A loved one who enjoys her occassional drink now and then loves it and she can even smell the sweetness in it. So I guess I will have to give it to her.

It’s really sweet and strong the performance is amazing but tbh i wouldn’t wear this in closed areas in summer because it’s super strong it’d give me a headache with this weather especially because i live in the Middle East so it’s super hot and humid, but i’d have no problem wearing this outside or in a place with air conditioning. If you have pink sugar I honestly don't think you need both. If you can get your hands on it and would love to have it definitely give it a shot! For a cheapie, aquolina is a beast! If you like Pink Sugar but wish it didn't have licorice (if I recall correctly lots of reviewers here do feel this way) - then this Berry Blast flanker would be a pretty good buy, as it is similar to the original and all it adds is that blueberry candy top note, which although a little artificial-smelling to me, is very likable. I don't think I will ever be able to go into specific detail about individual notes like alot of you are able to do when reviewing. This is 1 fragrance I do feel I'm qualified to review because until 5 months ago Pink Sugar mixed with Pink Sugar Sensual is all I wore for the last 7 years. Pink Sugar Red Velvet absolutely has the OG Pink Sugar DNA. However it is very different. This is much more rich and full (rich like food not expensive rich). The OG is sweet like candy and this is sweet like dessert. Oddly I don't get the strawberry note and didn't know it had one. I've worn this perfume twice so far. The first time (wrist) was regretful, as I smelled nothing but plastic and got a headache. I decided to wash it off and respray with something more to my liking.

The licorice is strong in the beginning (and I don't get why so many hate it smh), but it's not anis-like, instead it's a very sugary licorice. For me it started to fade like 1 hour after spraying. Honestly I think the licorice gives Pink Sugar an interesting vibe and makes it even sweeter than it would be without. this perfume lasts ALL day. i love it so much and i like pairing it with Fantasy by Britney Spears. it gives it a sweet cupcake, cotton candy, sugary smell. a beautiful summer scent. SOO GOURMAND! 🤞🏾

I thought that I got it wrong or I am obsessed with my work at the hospital.. But when my husband smelled me without telling him my thoughts he told me that I smell like a hospital or a surgical gown.. I really don't know what I am doing with my 100ml bottle. EDIT - today i used more sprays, body and another on my forearm. its better today, i get more of an eraser note too, whatever is making cherry, is eraser cherry, rounded, i dont get the same berry cheapo vibe. i mean this isnt super complex by any means but it is an easy scent which does perform well for me.

I don't like the opening. It smells like rubbing alcohol and lavender. Very sharp and pungent. When it dries down it gets better with the airy whipped cream and coconut notes. The lavender is still there but it smells so much better on this creamy phase. I really like this moment. Of course, I also smell the burnt sugar (aka BR540 DNA) mixed with a musk overload. Past the opening, it's a warm and cozy fragrance.I've been using this fragrance on and off for the last couple of years and I cannot decide if I like it or love it...or hate it. Some days I get this screechy sour note that stands out, then other days I get a lovely creamy lavender dream (today is one of the good days for this fragrance!) Then other days, despite rotating my fragrances, I cannot smell it at all (which isn't a huge deal as I know others can probably smell it on me.) I'm also torn because the DNA is becoming tiresome. Though in my opinion, it is far from being a BR540 dupe, there are some slight similarities. This perfume confuses me.
