About this deal

The bathroom scene was absent from the original episode. The bedroom scene immediately shows up after Blue's Clues is solved. This was the second time Sidetable's face appears during the So Long Song since " Blue's Book Nook". This is the first episode that does not show Blue playing with her rubber ball at the end of the credits before the book closes.

Blue's Big Beat Band" • " Hide and Seek with Blue" • " Blue's Treasure Hunt" • " Welcome to Blue's Bistro" • " Blue's Big Baking Show" • " Blue's Night Before Christmas" • " Sleepy Singalong with Blue" • " Blue's Big Dance Party" • " Blue's Big Imagination" • " What I Like About Blue" • " Blue's Show and Tell Surprise" • " Blue's Rainy Day Rainbow" • " Spring is Here!" • " Blue's Big Neighborhood Adventure" • " Blue's Beach Bonanza" • " Blue's Anywhere Box Surprise" • " Mystery of the Missing Pies" • " Blue Makes a Movie with You!"• " It's Your Birthday!" • " Blue's Big Costume Parade" In the U.K. version, the moon appears a fifth time with her first quote, due to part of the music being used again. As usual, the U.K. doesn’t like to use the unusual short credit lengths. In the original series Steve whispers almost the entire Mailtime song, but sings loud in the middle of it by accident. In the reboot, Josh whispers the entire Mailtime song, but then tries to sing the last "Mail" in a loud voice, then sings the last "Mail" in a quiet voice. This episode shared the name with a music video featured in segment after discussing the first two clues. The first time that happened was in " Joe Gets a Clue".Revealed in this episode, Blue had a boy stuffed puppy named Polka Dots (formerly referred to as female, before officially declared a male). This episode does not end with the reversed scene of the door closing and Blue waving goodbye to the viewer in the left window, Steve quietly sings The So Long Song in his bedroom instead of the living room, and Blue does not join in, or show up at the window to wave goodbye to the viewer in one of the windows because she is sleeping in her bed, and it ends when Steve turns off the light.

In the original, Steve told the viewers they should be here for the pajama party, but in the remake, Josh & Blue welcomed the viewers to the pajama party. When Steve and Blue skidooed into space, Earth made a complete spin. So when they returned, it should not have still been the same night; however, it was. This is the debut of the improved version of Steve's hair from Hide and Seek, but this time, his bangs were added again. This was the last time where the quiet version of The So Long Song was featured and also the only episode where Joe sang that version. This is the first episode in the reboot to take place at night and this is also the first time the theme song had a variant. The variant is that when the song is halfway through, the sky turns from sky blue to sunset purple. This is the last produced episode where the pawprint is still shown on the third clue after Steve draws it.

After Joe drew the third clue in his thinking chair, he realized he was already sitting in the thinking chair. The picture in the living room picture frame however, is different than the one in " What Experiment Does Blue Want to Try?" (the one in this episode shows the Earth and the moon). The usual Blue's Clues instrumentals are replaced with a different kind of music to go along with the quiet version of the Blue's Clues song. When Josh got rid of the pawprint, he immediately started to play Blue's Clues. But in the original, Steve got the notebook and then started playing Blue’s Clues. In the original Sidetable Drawer said “Blue’s clues, I’m so excited.” in her sleep. She didn’t say it in the reboot. The Mailtime barbershop quartet singing is the same as the other episodes, but it has a quieter nighttime arrangement rather than the regular arrangement.Living room picture: Various characters sleeping: First Periwinkle, then Baby Bear, then Orange Kitten, then Green Puppy Steve wore his pajamas in the Bedtime Business Song music video from the 2000 VHS release of Magenta Comes Over. However, the left light (the one in the window where Blue normally appears to wave bye-bye to the viewer) had its light turned off when it zoomed out of the house, so Joe may have turned that light off and then waved bye-bye to the viewer and went to sleep in his actual bed in his bedroom after the episode ended. The lyrics to the So Long Song have slightly changed in this episode, "But we'll sing just one more song" has changed to "So we'll sing this goodbye song", "Thanks for doing your part" has changed to "Thanks for coming tonight", "You sure are smart" has changed to "You sure are bright".
