About this deal

If you're looking to physically connect to The Three - and not by petting the speaker grille like we did - there are a number of ways to do so. The Three supports not only Bluetooth and Wi-Fi, which we'll talk about in a moment, it also connects via 3.5mm auxiliary, analog RCA, USB, and even a phono input for a turntable. That's right, you can connect The Three directly to your record player. This might be the most versatile wireless speaker we've ever reviewed. The only other connection we could think of adding is Optical, like we found on the RIVA Festival, but there are plenty enough options here. Sadly, we didn't have a turntable to test out, so please share your experiences with us if you do. All the other analog connections work well, but we find ourselves mostly pairing through Bluetooth or Wi-Fi. In addition to the active 5.25” long-throw woofer, The Three also features dual opposed 5.25” passive radiators to deliver enhanced bass reflex for a bigger audio experience.

Long-Throw Woofer ขนาด 5¼ นิ้ว 1 ชุด รวมไปถึงส่วนขยายเสียงอย่าง Passive Radiator ขนาด 5¼ นิ้วอีก 2 ชุด Klipsch's The Three sounds fantastic, and while it isn't cheap, it certainly performs to our expectations for this price range. Its retro design is matched with a thoroughly modern, multi-room-capable wireless streaming app that's easy to use. Throw in RCA connections for turntables and stereo gear, and you have a versatile, excellent-sounding system. Most speakers we encounter that try to do this much end up being a pain to operate, but nothing about The Three's operation is annoying, and its audio performance is impressive. In addition to its audio capabilities, the Klipsch The Three II also features a retro design, with a wooden cabinet and metal knobs. The speaker is available in a variety of colors to suit different style preferences. The Three includes audio input connections Bluetooth®, Analog, 3.5mm miniplug, Phono Pre-Amp, and USB Type B audio. So go ahead, connect your turntable, computer, CD player, smartphone, or tablet and enjoy superior stereo sound from a beautifully crafted tabletop stereo system.

Key specs

Klipsch The Three II In addition to the active 5.25” long-throw woofer, The Three also features dual opposed 5.25” passive radiators to deliver enhanced bass reflex. Complex orchestral material – for example Dvorak’s In Nature’s Realm, as played during a Radio 3 evening concert – was given a tonally-credible presentation too. But there’s a caveat – the orchestra sounded as if it had been crammed into a small room, simply because the stereo image is so narrow from a box that’s 35cm wide. The Three II is fairly volume dependent in a variety of ways. At nominal volumes, the Klipsch device is a solid performer with a pleasingly rich low end and an accurate and clear high-end, and it’s also very strong on dynamics. But the qualities of its timbre and dynamics shift as the volume goes up or down. At high volume, it especially suffers; this isn’t a speaker for loud house parties, and it’s not ideal for fans of electronic music or hip-hop. This is also where the device produces some unfortunate artifacts. Sub-scores explained The Three II includes audio input connections for Turntables (MM phono stage), Computers (USB Type B), other analogue devices and wireless Bluetooth ®devices. So go ahead, connect whatever's in your home and enjoy superior stereo sound from a beautifully crafted tabletop stereo system.

USB Type B– Ability to connect a computer and use Klipsch as a computer speaker. The built-in D/A converter supports files with a density of up to 24bit/192kHz, it can handle the vast majority of our archive. This speaker features a built-in amplifier, delivering 60 watts of power, which allows for clear and powerful audio reproduction. The advanced acoustics technology ensures a balanced sound performance, with well-defined mids and crisp highs. The Three II is remarkably easy to use. On the top panel are a wonderfully old-school paddle-switch to wake it up or shut it down, and knobs to adjust volume and cycle through sources. The currently- selected source is confirmed with a subtly-illuminated white LED. Retested the speaker's Bluetooth range. In our initial results, we accidentally switched the measurement in feet with the measurement in meters. The Bluetooth score improves from 6.4 to 9.0.Tương tự như các model trước đó, Klipsch The Three II được trang bị kết nối Bluetooth 4.0 nên bạn có thể sử dụng các nguồn nhạc đa dạng thông qua smartphone, tablet, laptop,… Klipsch The Three II The Three II is a stereo tabletop system featuring two 2.25” full-range drivers and a 5.25” long-throw woofer, bi-amplified for audio resolution and professionally tuned by Klipsch acousticians to deliver a premium audio experience. The Klipsch is a single chassis powered speaker. The cabinet is a sealed box design and makes use of a pair of 2.25-inch ‘full range’ drivers that are augmented by a single 5.25-inch sub with another pair of 5.25-inch passive radiators acting to augment the performance. They must be doing something right because not only does Klipsch claim a low end frequency response of no less than 45Hz - and this is at a claimed +/ 3dB (i.e. the more rigorous of the two measurement settings generally allowed for this) - which suggests that there shouldn’t be any shortage of low end shove. Power is given as 60 watts continuous at fairly acceptable distortion levels. With a Bluetooth connection, the sound can be exaggerated, and unpleasantly sharpened, but with Wi-Fi, this problem does not occur. As a single loudspeaker, it does not create an equally wide soundstage as two loudspeakers do – it is probably obvious. Such beauty in such solutions. The matter of selectivity of sounds is completely different, which is fantastic. Even elaborate musical arrangements using a multitude of instruments sound very clear and selective on Klipsch. All this means that you can successfully listen to large ensembles, such as a symphony orchestra, on this device. Klipsch The Three II Video Review
