Only five different colours appeared during the original Classic Space series and a green version became available with 21109 Exo Suit in 2014. This pink design is therefore a welcome addition to the range, featuring the familiar emblem and some air tanks which look perfect when integrated with older figures. Perhaps additional colours will be introduced in the movie! This model made an appearance in the "Space Smash" episode of Lego Masters USA, to demonstrate the "gravity drop" method. I hope we learn from the movie what role Pink Classic Space minifigs play – I hope it’s something cool. Maybe Engineering?

To my memory, there were two different types of old-style helmets – you can see one variation on the left, which has a bit of a botch on the bottom chin, and the other which is more smooth.The robo pilot has a nicely detailed torso print and I like that he has a red visor like the first space police minifigs. Charlie Day reprised his role as Benny in LEGO Dimensions and The LEGO Movie 4D A New Adventure, while Mark Silverman voiced him in The LEGO Movie Videogame. is everything you could ever want from a Classic Space set, outside of a 1:1 reissue of 928 Galaxy Explorer.

Here’s a look at the Yellow and White Classic Space Minifigures, named Kenny and Jenny respectively.The LL929 is a continuation of a numbering scheme used for three classic space kits: 918 Space Transport (LL918), 924 Transporter (LL924), and 928 Galaxy Explorer (LL928). Like Benny's space ship, all were sleek wedges with grey wings, blue fuselage, and yellow windows. Despite being adept with old space technologies, he is unable to decipher more modern ones like those in Business' computer room. Or, they are just unable to decipher him. This space toy for kids includes 4 new-for-January-2019 THE LEGO® MOVIE 2™ minifigures: Benny, Lenny, Jenny and Kenny. The inclusion of Lenny, the new Pink Classic Spaceman is another master-stroke as it effectively expands the Classic Space universe in the same way that the Exo Suit did. Four astronauts are included, the first of whom is Benny. This delightful character made a tremendous impression during The LEGO Movie and I am delighted to see him return, sporting a blue helmet with a broken chin strap and matching air tanks. The worn Classic Space emblem on his torso looks excellent and the minifigure's double-sided head features two different expressions which convey a great deal of personality.
