About this deal

On the top floor of the Pompidou Centre in the Marais neighborhood, you will reach the height of 42 metres. This cathedral is one of the best places to enjoy Paris from above thanks to its two towers that are 69 meters tall. You can access the towers from the right side of the cathedral, but since there are no elevators, you will have to climb almost 400 steps. If you plan on getting up the towers, get there early in the morning so you don’t queue for two hours. The price for adults is 8.50 euros. It is free for children and for Europeans citizens aged between 18 and 25 years old.

With no presence of a lift, climbing the 300 steps to the top of the Sacré Coeur can be extremely tiring but the panoramic views of Paris it provides make up for it. Opening hours: The museum opens from 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM/7: 00 PM from 1st April to 31st October and from 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM from 1st November to 31st March. There is no trip to Paris that is complete without cruising on the Seine. On top of the feeling of going on a cruise, a cruise along the Seine serves the best views in Paris from all angles — whether you go visit during the day or choose to explore Paris at night. You may know of other viewpoints that are just as fantastic. If so, let me know by leaving a comment at the bottom of the article! The Printemps is actually one of the oldest shopping center in Paris. It’s perfectly a shopping heaven alongside with the famous other department store like Gallery Lafayette. In my personal opinion, the view from the rooftop is my favorite one among the others.

Montparnasse Tower is the ugly, dark skyscraper that stands out like a sore thumb when you look out across Paris. But from the top of this eyesore you have one of the most spectacular views in Paris. There are two levels to visit, the 56th floor, which is completely enclosed by windows, and the observation terrace on the roof. This is also completely enclosed by glass panels but there are a few strategic openings in the glass for your camera. The world-famous Galeries Lafayette department store is well known among Parisians and visitors for the wide variety of products they offer, and for their glamorous window displays. However, fewer people know that there is a wonderful roof-top terraces, which accessible for the public – for free! You get a wonderful 360 degree view over the surrounding Paris skyline. Galeries Lafayette offers a wonderful roof-top terraces for a brilliant view of Paris. 6. View Paris From Butte Bergeyre. It's a very pleasant 90-minute stroll from one end to the next. Along the way, you'll pass flower gardens, bamboo groves, trellises of climbing plants, rose bushes, and lime and hazelnut trees, while catching glimpses of the Parisian skyline and scenes of street life below. There are also plenty of benches, picnic spots and gardens offering a rest stop and a chance to soak up the nature vibe.

This move provided a fresh canvas for his work – the historically rich and architecturally diverse cityscape of Paris. Within this series, Wolf masterfully captures the intricate details of the city’s rooftops, revealing a unique perspective of Paris’s urban fabric. This body of work not only underscores his artistic curiosity about city life but also offers viewers a fresh, often unseen perspective of the City of Lights, where the commonplace becomes extraordinary through his lens. The only problem with this view? The most famous emblem of Paris is invisible – because you’re standing on it! 2. Montparnasse Tower If there is one thing I like to do in Paris, it is to go to the heights to admire the city from above. The Arc de Triomphe has a very artistic design. The monument is approximately 50 meters tall and therefore, you need to climb the stairs manually for 285 steps to reach the top. It is definitely worth to climb. Above all, the 360 view from the top is insanely amazing. The Eiffel Tower is of course one of the most famous places in Paris to enjoy the view: climb (7 euro) or take the elevator (11 euro) to the second story viewing platform, where you’ll get four unique panoramas: central Paris to the east, the Chaillot Palace and La Défense to the north, the Champ de Mars to the south, and the Ile des Cygnes or Swan Island to the west, which is home to a miniature replica of the Statue of Liberty. You can very much appreciate Paris from the ground, but if you go higher or see it from above, it’s even much more impressive.
