I decided to give this book a 10 out of 10 as I love twist at the end and the storyline is amazing. The picture, writing ratio is good, with the pictures showing good graphics. I never wanted to put this book down, I wanted to keep reading. Podkin one ear was a fantastic adventure to go on and read, which I will never forget how great it was, neither will you. The ending was strange because you don’t know what is coming and has a slight wobble and made me feel emotional. Even though this book was good, the starting didn’t give me a great impression until I got in to the story. The World Of Podkin One-Ear (Longburrow in the US) is a series of epic children’s fantasy stories set in a world of rabbits. There are currently six books published, with another arriving in September 2023. There will be nine books overall. The Legend of Podkin One-Ear

A priča koju je započeo pričati započela je također na večer uoči Kupinova, kada je blagdansku idilu jednog drugog zečinjaka prekinuo napad zlih Gvozdenih, uslijed kojeg je troje malih zečića moralo pobjeći kako bi sačuvalo živu glavu. Jedan od tih zečića bio je upravo legendarni Podkin. However, the only point I could create to criticize the book was I was hoping for more ambitious vocabulary and different sentence structures to challenge older readers and mix-up points and facts for better understanding.

It’s jolly good fun . . . expect sequels to breed like . . . well, rabbits.’ SFX on T he Legend of Podkin One-Ear its about a little rabbit who only has one ear and his name is podkin and on Christmas eve a rabbit comes and tells him a cheerful Christmas story. I think it would be suitable for ages 8-10. I would recommend this book because it is a good book and fun to enjoy. Het verhaal gaat over Podkin, de zoon van een stamhoofd, die met zijn oudere zus en jonge broertje vlucht uit zijn burcht als de slechte Goroms binnenvallen De Goroms doden zijn vader en nemen alle anderen gevangen. En dat doen ze bij alle burchten die ze binnenvallen. Er komen geen mensen voor in dit verhaal, alleen konijnen die zich wel erg menselijk gedragen. Podkin, die aan het begin van het verhaal nog twee oren heeft, verandert van een lui jong konijn dat nog te beroerd is om te willen leren lezen en schrijven, in een dappere strijder die het opneemt voor zijn familie.

They try to defeat the Gorm because their father got killed which isn’t fair for them. On the way they meet other GREAT characters who come to help. The book is about Three Rabbits that travel through a wood/forest and one of the rabbits ear gets sliced off and that is why it is called The Legend of Podkin one-ear. I love this book and I think you will too if you read it. I think children 10+ if they are intarested . I really recommend it to people that like animal stories. Podkin One Ear is a GREAT book for children my age and above, the story is an adventure - fantasy with lots of interesting characters, my favourite being "Crom". Crom is an amazing fighter and can defend himself well, even though he is blind!

Uki must dodge the Endwatch, the Shrikes, Clan Septys and the guards and find a way to complete his quest before all is lost. Following on from the first book, Podkin and Paz are now hiding in Dark Hollow warren, deep in the forest of Grimheart. The Gorm have spread even further, and they must undertake a deadly mission into the heart of their territory to find a magical weapon that might give them an edge in the coming battle. This book is full of sad moments, adventure and action. The moto of the story is to believe in your self and don't be lazy as Podkin finds out in his incredible adventure as he tries to deafet the gorm. The story is being told to little rabbits on bramblemas eve by a bard and at the end of the book a big secret is revealed but I won't tell you. Read the book to find out the big secret! My favourite character is Paz because she is brave, strong and works hard unlike Podkin ,who is lazy. It is a great book and I really enjoyed it that is why I rated it a 9 out of 10. I didn't give it a 10 because it had some long chapters and interludes ,which is a brake in the story, and it really annoyed me. This book is fantastic so I recommend you read it.Podkin’s world has been taken over by a race of evil iron-covered rabbits called the Gorm. When they come to his warren one Bramblemas Eve, he finds himself running for his life and fighting to survive. Radioblogging.net is an amazing online radio show, full of ideas for writing and activities to do at home. They featured Podkin in a special episode, which you can listen to here. The Legend of Podkin One-Ear’ won the Blue Peter Book Award 2017, the Prix Sorcieres 2019, was shortlisted for the Waterstones Children’s Book Prize 2018 and nominated for the Carnegie Award 2018.
