With hygiene at the forefront of everyone’s minds our drinking bottles add an extra layer of reassurance as the drinking spout contains BACSHIELD antibacterial technology. BACSHIELD is a commonly used silver-ion technology that provides antibacterial product protection against unwanted bacteria, recognised for centuries with no harmful effects. It works by preventing the growth of unwanted bacteria that can cause product degradation, discolouration, staining or odour. This is achieved with silver ions mixed in the material on the straw*, preventing bacteria from multiplying. Gradual, gentle warming helps to preserve the goodness and vital nutrients in your baby’s food and heats it to a comfortable body temperature that feels natural to baby. It also helps to prevent hot spots that could burn your baby’s mouth. Once the warm is complete, simply remove the bottle from the warmer and avoid touching the water inside.Use the hot flask to store boiling water when you leave the house. When it’s time to feed your baby, transfer the desired amount of boiling water to the cool flask, add your formula, secure the lid and shake to mix the formula and start the cooling process. When the Tommee Tippee star on the LED digital lid turns blue, your little one's feed is at the right temperature and ready to transfer into a clean, sterile baby bottle. Boil fresh water, measure formula powder, fill RapidCool with hot water, add formula powder, and mix well. Then, wait for the digital display to show a green Nuby logo, and dispense the feed into your sterilised baby bottle. A 120ml feed will be ready to serve in 2 minutes*. Do not allow the water tank to be contaminated. The inside of the unit should only be cleaned by following the cleaning process steps provided in this leaflet.
A red warning light will illuminate when the unit requires descaling soon. If the light flashes, you should descale immediately A solid red light will illuminate as an early warning, so you can make sure you have a replacement filter ready for when it needs changing. When the red light flashes, replace the filter. It is essential that good hygiene practices are observed in the use and maintenance of your Perfect Prep machine. We’d love our bottles to last a lifetime, but general wear and tear can occur after months of use, especially if you’re using, washing and sterilising the same bottle each and every day. When you are ready to feed, attach the digital lid to the hot flask and tilt the flask sideways for a minimum of 5 seconds to ensure the water is still hot enough and safe to make a feed. The star on the digital lid should turn red.If at any point you need to stop the Perfect Prep machine you can do so by pressing the start/stop button. The pump may continue to run for a few seconds and the green light will illuminate to show that the process has ended.

Hand washing in warm soapy water or placing into the dishwasher on the top shelf is ideal. Scrubbing or placing into the bottom of a dishwasher could damage the decoration/ measurements causing the ink to come away. Simply fill the flask with the desired amount of boiling water, add your formula, secure the lid and shake to mix the formula and start the cooling process. When making up a feed, follow the formula milk manafacturer's instructions and allow the freshly boiled water to cool before pouring it into the bottle Do not use hot water other than during cleaning cycles. If water in the tank is higher than 25°C, the unit will not operate. If this happens, either change the water or allow the water to cool and restart.
