On the nose, Willett 10 Year has lots of oak, heat, sweet brown sugar, and rye spice. We like the slightly less oak, rich vanilla, hot spice on the palate, and lingering finish. One taste revealed cinnamon sugar, citrus zest, and buttery caramel. There are also more ripe fruit flavors dancing on the palate, as well. All in all a decent sipper. That being said, the overall fruitiness of this bourbon isn’t exactly what I’m looking for in a sipping whiskey. Taste 6: Christopher OsburnThe whiskey is a dark amber color with an almost syrupy texture, which looks incredibly appealing. The smell of the spirit is spot-on for a typical standard bourbon, with notes of toffee caramel and vanilla. The brand offers single-barrel bourbons and other selections, but you should not miss out on this 10-year-old bourbon. 3.
