Though its not labeled as such, this is definitely a book for teens/young adults. The writing is extremely simple, like perhaps it was written by a teenager.
Wes is drawn to Livvie from the moment he sees her picture. Her voice calms him. And when he finally meets her in person, he knows why. As it turns out, she is his fated mate. I’ve read the rest of these books and was excited to read this one. But it was boring! Really really boring! Including the sex! If he asked her one more time if it was okay to touch her, I was going throw my kindle!!! Yes I know that it’s good to have consent before doing anything, but constantly asking her if it was okay, it’s hardy sexy and passionate. She had to beg him to touch her! Nope!!! To say that Liza has no time for a relationship let alone romance of any kind is an understatement. She’s just left her boyfriend, who she caught cheating with her roommate. She’s had to move, while continuing on her path to become a registered nurse. She’s in the final stretches. Between practicals and studying, she barely has time to eat let alone date. Earlier this month a man in Texas took a video of a curious creature he found on the beach. Not knowing what it was, he took a video and uploaded it to Reddit where it was immediately identified as a cute but venomous creature: Glaucus atlanticus.I liked the story and the writing style. These sea slugs are pelagic; they float upside down by using the surface tension of the water to stay up, where they are carried along by the winds and ocean currents. G. atlanticus makes use of countershading; the blue side of their bodies faces upwards, blending in with the blue of the water. The silver/grey side of the sea slugs faces downwards, blending in with the sunlight reflecting on the ocean's surface when viewed facing upwards underwater. Overall a good story. I like this small town and the dragons that have claimed it. I loved catching up with the past couples and seeing the clan grow. If you’ve always enjoyed reading about this extremely powerful witch and want to see how she adjusts to having a mate, then this is the book for you. But it’s not just about Sammy. There are several mysteries to solve, plus Sammy wants to find the evil witch who shunned her years ago. You’ll find out all about it in this book. Buy it and enjoy! My rating: 5 stars!
