Inspired by the rich ceramics imported from Japan in the late seventeenth and early eighteenth century, Derby porcelain has been famous worldwide for the manufacture of their rich Imari wares since the late 18th Century. There have been many Royal Crown Derby Imari and Imari-inspired patterns since then and the designers are constantly creating adaptations of these patterns and showcasing them throughout the range of paperweights, tableware, accent plates and decorative homewares.
