There’s very little difference between the One Mini 2’s panel compared to the 720p one on the Moto G and it even uses the same toughened Gorilla Glass 3 to add a layer of protection and deliver the impressive viewing angles. The pixel count is pretty much on par with the One Mini 2, offering 326 ppi against the Moto G’s 329ppi. The HTC One Mini 2 is an Android smartphone designed and manufactured by HTC. The One Mini 2 is a mid-range variant of HTC's 2014 flagship high-end smartphone, the HTC One. As such, the One Mini 2 was designed to provide an overall experience as similar to its high-end counterpart as possible, while still being competitively priced in comparison to other smartphones in its range. Officially unveiled on 15 May 2014, [3] the One Mini 2 was expected to be released mid-June in Europe, the Middle East and Asia, with no official date for other regions. The design and build quality is above average and there's no denying that this is a lovely phone to use and hold. The shift away from UltraPixel to a different camera - if you can accept that it doesn't offer all the features that HTC has become known for - doesn't really do the phone any damage either. Anyway, one thing that has thankfully not changed is the front-facing speakers, located on each side of the display and hidden under precision-drilled micro holes. The pair doesn't have Beats anymore, but each has its own amplifier instead - just like on the One M8. There's no sign of lag in Sense 6.0 on the HTC One mini 2. Like the M8, navigating through HTC's interface is swift and fast, making this a pleasure to use. HTC made the move to on-screen buttons this generation, but this didn't help the height problem. None of the above has a meaningful response to those front-facing speakers, of course.
